Access was a logistical and technical challenge: a route was opened, the land was leveled, and a platform was designed that does not interrupt the landscape but accompanies it. The home was born from the vision of Delian, a Puerto Rican traveler deeply connected to his island, who together with KEU conceived a self-sufficient retreat powered by solar energy and designed to coexist with its surroundings without altering them. The architecture rests on the land with precision, oriented toward ocean views and sheltered by native vegetation. The thermal envelope adapts to the coastal climate, using materials resistant to salinity and finishes that age with dignity.
Invisible assemblies, woods that age gracefully, proportions that breathe. For more than ten years, the team worked in silence, seeking neither recognition nor scale, but a way of inhabiting that would return design to its artisanal essence. The home is placed on a plot surrounded by Mediterranean vegetation, oriented to privilege natural light and cross-ventilation. The modular structure adapts to the terrain without imposing itself, creating a serene platform that opens to the landscape. Every element has been handcrafted by artisans with more than 30 years of experience, in a process where every decision has purpose and every detail matters.
