This project is born from the shared vision of Claude, an elite mechanic specialized in supercars and race vehicles, and his son Édouard, a young driver in training.
The home is conceived as a modular KEU unit tailored to the lifestyle of its guests, blending automotive engineering with the tranquility of the wine-growing landscape. The program is organized around intimate and open spaces, with an exterior axis that articulates the relationship between interior and nature. The layout takes advantage of Burgundy’s gentle topography, creating a discreet platform that opens toward the vineyards, while the architectural strategy focuses on extreme personalization: advanced home automation, an outdoor jacuzzi, and gourmet breakfasts that transform the stay into a complete sensory experience.
Materials and systems reinforce the project’s singularity: a centralized vacuum system integrated into the structure, an electric vehicle charging point, Alexa-based home control, and finishes that prioritize absolute privacy. The envelope is resolved with clean surfaces and neutral tones that resonate with the calm of the rural environment, while the architecture opens toward the light and the slow rhythm of the countryside.
