On the wild coast of Combate, where the Caribbean stretches into a horizontal line and the wind writes across the sand, KEU Playa Combate rests as an architectural pause. A home that does not interrupt the landscape, but accompanies it. Designed to withstand the climate, contemplate the sea, and dissolve into the vegetation.
KEU Playa Combate is set on a hard-to-reach coastal site, exposed to constant winds and without any existing infrastructure.
The installation was carried out using specialized cranes, placing the modular unit on an elevated platform that protects the vegetation and allows for a direct relationship with the sea. The project is conceived as a self-sufficient residence, powered by solar energy and designed to operate autonomously in an extreme environment. The orientation is defined by ocean views and wind flow, creating an open, fluid living experience deeply connected to its surroundings.
